 Words denoting etiquettes or manners (शिष्टाचार बताने वाले शब्द)

यदि आपको किसी व्यक्ति से कोई वस्तु लेनी हो या किसी से कोई बात पूछनी हो  तो Please (कृपया) का प्रयोग करो।

यदि आपको कोई भी व्यक्ति कोई चीज दे या आपका कोई काम करें तो आपको उसे  Thanks या Thank you कहना चाहिए। 

यदि अनजाने में आप किसी से टकरा जाए या आपसे कोई गलती हो जाए तो आपको Sorry या I am sorry (मुझे खेद है) कहना चाहिए।

यदि आप किसी सभा से उठकर जाना चाहते हो या भीड़ में दूसरों से रास्ता मांगना चाहते हो तो आपको Excuse me (क्षमा करिए) कहना चाहिए। 

यदि आप किसी व्यक्ति की बात समझ नहीं पा रहे हैं या आप उसे दोहराने के लिए कहना चाहते हैं तो Pardon (क्षमा कीजिए ) या I beg your pardon कहना चाहिए। वह व्यक्ति समझ जाएगा कि आप उसे इस बात को दोहराने के लिए कह रहे हैं।

यदि कोई व्यक्ति आपको Thanks कहता है तो आपको नो No mention (कोई बात नहीं) या mention not कहना चाहिए। आप It's all right (सब ठीक है) का भी का भी  प्रयोग कर सकते हैं।

यदि कोई व्यक्ति आपके साथ जाने या आपके घर आने की इच्छा प्रकट करें तो आपको Welcome (शुभआगमन) या You are most welcome कहकर उसे सम्मानित करना चाहिए।

यदि कोई व्यक्ति आपसे कोई चीज मांगता है या आपकी सहायता मांगता है तो आपको with great pleasure ( बड़े शौक से या बड़ी खुशी से) कहना चाहिए।

यदि आपको कोई व्यक्ति आपको कोई वस्तु देना चाहे और आप उसे नहीं लेना चाहें तो आपको no thanks (नहीं धन्यवाद) का प्रयोग करना चाहिए। 

यदि आप किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति को 'पहले आप' कहना चाहते हैं या उसे जाने के लिए रास्ता देना चाहते हैं तो आपको after you (पहले आप) का प्रयोग करना चाहिये।

There are seven members in my family. My grand parents also live with us. I have one brother and one sister. My father is the head of our family. His name Shri Gopal Swaroop. He is forty five years old. He is a teacher. He teaches in a government school. He goes to school at nine in the morning and comes back at three in the afternoon. My mother is a home maker. She looks after the family. She cooks food and washes clothes. She is a kind lady. She loves us very much. My sister is in class IX. She helps my mother in her work. I study in class XI and My younger brother studies in class VII.

मेरा परिवार

मेरे परिवार में सात सदस्य हैं. मेरे दादा – दादी भी हमारे साथ रहते हैं. मेरे एक भाई और एक बहिन है. मेरे पिता हमारे परिवार के मुखिया हैं. उनका नाम श्री गोपाल स्वरुप है. वे 45 वर्ष के हैं. वे एक अध्यापक हैं. वे एक सरकारी विद्यालय में पढाते है. वे प्रातःकाल 9 बजे विद्यालय जाते हैं और तीसरे पहर तीन बजे वापस आते हैं. मेरी माँ गृहिणी है. वह परिवार की देखभाल करती है. वह खाना पकाती है और कपडे धोती है. वह एक दयालु महिला है. वह हमसे बहुत अधिक स्नेह करती है. मेरी बहिन कक्षा 9 में है. वह मेरी माँ के कार्य में उसकी सहायता करती है. मैं कक्षा 11 में अध्ययन करता हूँ और मेरा छोटा भाई कक्षा 7 में अध्ययन करता है.
