 What can we learn from a lion?

We can learn three things from a lion -

First - We should have full concentration.

Second - We should focus on our target.

Third - Whether the work is small or big, we should do it with full strength, capacity and dedication.

हम शेर से क्या सीख सकते हैं?

हम शेर से तीन बातें सीख सकते हैं -

पहली - हमें पूरी एकाग्रता रखनी चाहिए।

दूसरी - हमें अपने लक्ष्य पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना चाहिये।

तीसरी - कार्य चाहे छोटा हो या बड़ा, हमें उसे पूरी ताकत, क्षमता और समर्पण के साथ करना चाहिए।

English Translation

You are my mother and you are my father.

You are my relative and you are my friend.

You are my knowledge and you are my wealth.

You are my everything, O, God of gods.

हिन्दी अनुवाद 

(हे ईश्वर) तुम ही मेरी माता हो और तुम ही मेरे पिता हो।

तुम ही मेरे बंधु हो और तुम ही मेरे मित्र हो।

तुम ही मेरी विद्या हो और तुम ही मेरे धन हो।

हे, देवों के देव तुम ही मेरे सब कुछ हो।

मैं आपको नमन करता हूँ।

(7.2.4) Five qualities of a student

 What are the five qualities of an ideal student?

First - A student should have the eagerness and effort of a crow.

Second - He should have focus and concentration on his work like a crane.

Third - He should have a light sleep like a dog.

Fourth - He should eat moderately, neither too much nor too little.

Fifth - He should be willing to leave the comfort of his  home. In other words he should come out of his comfort zone.

These are the five qualities of an ideal student.

एक आदर्श विद्यार्थी के पाँच लक्षण कौनसे हैं?

पहला  - एक अच्छे विद्यार्थी में कौवे जैसी उत्सुकता और प्रयास होना चाहिए।

दूसरा - उसे सारस की तरह अपने काम पर ध्यान और एकाग्रता रखनी चाहिए।

तीसरा - उसे कुत्ते की तरह हल्की नींद लेनी चाहिए।

चौथा  - उसे संयमित भोजन करना चाहिए। न बहुत अधिक न बहुत कम।

पाँचवा - उसे अपने घर की सुख सुविधाओं को  छोड़ने के लिए तैयार रहना चाहिए यानि अपने आराम क्षेत्र से बाहर आना चाहिए।

एक आदर्श विद्यार्थी के ये पाँच लक्षण हैं।

Imperative Sentences related to worship

भगवान् को भोग लगाओ. Offer food to God.

भगवान् को नारियल चढ़ाओ. Offer coconut to God.

सरस्वती मन्त्र बोलो. Chant the Sarswati Mntra.

प्रार्थना बोलो. Recite the prayer.

अपने हाथ के मौली बाँध लो. Tie Mauli on your hand.

उसके माथे पर तिलक लगा दो. Put a tilak on his forehead.

हाथ जोड़ो और अपनी आँखें बंद करो. Fold your hands and close your eyes. (or) Join your hands and close your eyes.

अपने मन की आँखों से देवी की प्रतिमा को देखो. See the idol of the goddess with your mind’s eyes.

अब देवी का ध्यान करो. Now meditate on the goddess.

मन ही मन प्रार्थना करो. Pray in your mind.

प्रसाद को भक्तों को बाँट दो. Distribute the Prasad to the devotees.

नारियल को फोड़ दो. Break the coconut.

नारियल की चटकें खा लो. Eat the coconut crackers.

दीपक जला दो. Light a lamp.

The Book I Like most  (or) My Favourite Book

Good books improve our knowledge. They teach us how to live a noble life. I have read many books but I like the Ramcharitmanas most.  It was written by the great poet Tulsidas. It is written in Avadhi language. The Ramchartmanas  depicts the noble deeds of Shri Ram. Its language is very simple and musical. It is very popular among the Hindus. Ramcharitmanas presents a picture of an ideal brother, wife, husband, friend and an ideal society. Laxman was an obedient brother, Sita was an ideal wife. Bharat, the brother of Ram, had no Love for the throne.

Ram, the main character of this book, was the son of Dasharath, the King of Ayodhya. His father ordered him to go to the forest for fourteen years. He obeyed his father and went to the forest. His younger brother Laxman and his wife sita also went with him..

Ravan was the king of Lanka. Hе kidnapped Sita and took her to Lanka. Ram Invaded Lanka with the help of Sugriva and his army. He killed Ravan and got back sita.

This book gives the message that we must be just and dutiful. It points out that the evil is punished and the good prevails in the end.

This book is my friend, my guide and my teacher.
