A Speech on Independence Day
Good morning
everyone,
Respected Principal,
teachers, parents and my dear friends.
First of
all, I wish you all a very happy Independence Day.
Today is
15th August and we are here to celebrate Independence Day. Independence Day is
a national festival of India. We celebrate this day with great joy and pride.
On this day India got freedom from British rule in 1947.
We got
freedom after a long struggle. Many brave freedom fighters lost their lives in
this struggle. We must remember and honour them for their great sacrifice.
Independence Day inspires us to live in peace, love and unity.
I am proud
to be an Indian and I love my country very much.
Jay Hind,
Jay Bharat.
